How to create an effective lead magnet?

1. Think about the target audience for your lead magnet.

Create a persona and think about the problems you can solve for them. Look closer at what they’re looking for in terms of the services you can offer them.

We pay attention to the questions, objections and doubts course candidates face. We try answering some of them with the free content we share.

2. Define the goal you want to achieve using it.

If the goal is to maximize downloads or newsletter contacts, consider this while creating your lead magnet. If you want to build a network of valuable contacts you’ll communicate with in the future, use quality content that keeps your audience knowledge-hungry and helps you continue to deliver valuable information.

3. Match your business to your audience.

Ebook, checklist, toolkit, planner – these are just a few of the formats you can use to provide information to your audience. If you have a lot to say, and the educational mission is more important than entertainment, use a more serious format like an ebook.
